Transmissions of Starlight / 16, 17

“The space between space is who you are, is where you are. Right there, in the space of the space between space. Feel it! Can you sense it? Can you hear it? Can you step in to it?”

The voice was like a hymn being carried through the glistening landscape of ice and sunshine.

Of course she could feel it! But how do you step in to something which is already there? Something which has always been there? Something which will always be there?

“It’s a just a matter of disconnect and reconnect”, the voice seemed arrive through the candles in the window.

She moved closer to the house at the end of the road. The dancing flames of the 14 armed chandeliers seemed to be the source of this knowing voice.

Who lives here? Whose house is it?

She had walked past many times in fall when she was out foraging for mushrooms and the last berries of the season, but never had she noticed this cottage. Grey logs stacked on top of each other in the most exquisite way, red painted window frames, fir-smelling smoke coming out of the chimney dancing in the same rhythm as the candles in the window. A gleaming sled leaning against the porch.

As she passed the mailbox she noticed a little sign just underneath the lid. What name was on there? Trinity leaned in to read.

“The Blue Wizard”

The Blue Wizard? Was that a company name? Or some sort of artist name?

The front door blew open the same nanosecond she finished her train of thought, or train of questions. A Gandalf like figure stood in the opening, royal blue robes, long grey and white braided beard, embroidered hat on his head. He smiled and waved at her.

“What took you so long Trinity?”

How could he know her? And how could he possibly know her newly acquired name?

“This is not the time of playing small my dear Trinity”, Wizard chuckled as he greeted her. “It is the time to relax and be yourself”.

Wasn’t that an oxymoron?

“Absolutely not”, the Wizard replied as if she had spoken her thoughts out loud. “This is the secret instruction for everything in these times, this very time of the year, this very year. It is not the time to be playing small. It is the time to relax and be yourself. Just let that sink in for a while over some pine tea and saffron nut bread with us here in the stables behind the house.”

Stables?

Elsa’s Song, Dec 18th 2021

The woman’s weathered hands moved across the ancient wand.

To the untrained eye the object looked like a shrivelled up piece of wood.

To Disa it had been obvious the first time her eyes met it that it was anything but wood. Being a blend of onyx, shungite, white alabaster, rock crystal and lava from the inner core of Mother Gaia, swirled together in a spiral like pattern it was an extremely magic wand. The Dragon Wind Wand. One of the most powerful instruments to ever grace the Earth plane, even though no instrument had any true power without intent.

Disa had noticed how some of the birdseeds in her garden had sprung out. How they had managed to do that, outside in the cold, on the thick layer of snow and ice covering the ground, was mystery to behold. Unless it was due to the bright light coming in from the galactic suns during the short days. Magic light for magic sprouts?

Nejla and Ricky’s sleds had come to a halt. They had travelled throughout the early morning. At 3 am they had packed up, moved on for a few hours underneath the Ursid meteor showers. Now at 6.30 am it was time for a nap before the bright red and golden sun dawned.

A deep sigh from the dogs spread through the quiet air. What seemed like just as deep a sigh sounded out from the surrounding woods seconds later.

“Light is the first cause, and every second cause is its shadow”, Maddy the Mighty stretched out like only cats can.

‘What’s that?” Ricky turned and looked at the cat.

“Oh, just something this pretty connected guy Rumi I once knew very well used to say”. Maddy curled up.

“How old are you Maddy?” Nejla asked.

“Ancient. Not that it matters though”, Maddy replied opening one eye. “Let’s just keep what the dude Rumi said in mind once we wake up with the sun after this nap OK? You will see. Oh yes, you will see.”

“Did you know I was about to name the second lead dog Rumi?” Ricky turned towards Nejla. “But he insisted on being called Kabir instead”.

Nejla could not help laughing out loud. “I always thought it such a weird combination of names and energies  with Thor and Kabir in the lead, but Thor and Rumi surely would have been outrageously weird.”

Another sigh from The Crew and The Pack. Time to snooze.

Disa picked up The Dragon Wind Wand.

I am sorry House

Blog4 Blog2

I am sorry House,
that I could not love you.

My heart was closed,
too busy holding on to pieces,
already broken
I was.

I could not see,
your tender care,
your solid hold,
you doing what you do best,
shelter.

I could not feel
warm, ancient soil
underneath my feet
lifting pine trees to the sky
welcoming crystal white covers
to carry us into the depths of the woods
in the company of ravens, eagles, moose and myths.

I was not hearing
the soaring air,
the speaking winds,
the soft whispers of comfort,
the Soul of the land
speaking to my broken soul.

My heart could smell,
could touch the sun,
could caress the moon,
sing with wolves and wonders
– but not under your roof.

I am sorry House,
for not living
while I inhabited your space.

I am sorry House,
for just grieving
in your warm arms.

I am sorry Mountain,
for loving you more
than I love myself,
for finding life, joy, wonder and purpose
on your hilltops.

I am sorry Mountain,
for capturing your soul into mine,
for the bliss of oneness
which only you know.

I am sorry Mountain,
that I cannot live that gift, that passion
for now and ever after more.

If anyone will ever ask,
I shall say;
The Mountain holds my Soul.
