Elsa’s Song, Dec 21st 2021

“When the full moon dances in its own light. When its shadow pulls the breath of slivering starlight. When the omens and signs are one and the same. When the exhalation of the pine trees is your sleep, your lingering moments of trust. That is when the moonstone sings to you my child”.

Nejla recognized the lingering song with her heart. It had been spoken before, not too long ago. It touched her soul-strings.

The sun was at its highest in the sky. The longest night and the shortest day was casting long shadows here at midday. Dawn had presented itself earlier in between the waning full moon and the rising sun. Moments of magic, of twilight, of choice as the day broke in to being.

Nejla stood on the plains of the upper ranges, soup-mug in hand, viewing the vast open spaces surrounding her. Every breath up here this time of year created visible mist. Humans rarely ventured up here anymore. They just could not be bothered to take the arduous trek through The Valley of Thorns.

She watched the sun gently moving towards the mountain tops. Soon it would take its dive behind the peaks and the Aurora would be swooshing in.

Rick was gathering all the dogs. This morning they had all gone on a “walking expedition” so that the dogs could have a well-deserved rest after two weeks of constant day treks,.

Luca the Labrador and Ricky’s husky pack Thor, Kabir, Storm, Wolfie and Saint had taken the lead. Jumping, digging, rolling around in the snow like they were still puppies. The joy rubbed off instantly.

Nejla and “The Crew” –  her pack with the dear husky Starlight,  the super strong and cuddly Malamute Tuva and the joyful Samoyed Kriya – had tried their best to get Maddy the Magnificent out of her comfortable space in the cargo basket, but the black cat had refused to leave her view place. Off they’d gone without Maddy, jumping, rolling, digging along.

Now it was time for rest. Everyone together around the fire.

A bit higher up to their left Alabasters pack of wolves were resting. Even higher up to the right Snowflakes pack of snow leopards were just waking up, gently stretching and yawning.

“What defines and adventurer I wonder?”, Nejla looked at Starlight.

“It’s not dramatic, it’s subtle.” Starlight replied. “Someone who walks”.

“Just drop it, move on. Change course”, she on the other side of the veil added.

“There are doorways, there are bridges, there are walls. You can break them, run or climb them or you can choose. Choose to listen. To uncover. To align. You can choose to open, to cross, to disintegrate through gentleness.” Starlight continued. “It is not dramatic, it is subtle. Where you go from here is up to you. Your heart is connected. Always. Remember – breath is the doorway, silence is the answer.”

Nejla put her mug down in the snow. Ricky did the same.

“Uncover! Uncover! Uncover! Be!” she took another breath. “Embrace! Embrace! Embrace! Align!” She stood where she stood. Just stood.

Snow under her feet, wilderness in her heart. Huskies, wolves, malamutes, cats, dragons, labradors, snow leopards, samoyeds, friends, stars, songs and winter storms. Nejla was home. Aligned. Her heart was full. She exhaled.

Elsa’s Song, Dec 20th 2021

Everything seemed slower, almost stuck.

Or no, not stuck, just sluggishly proceeding, Nejla corrected herself mid thinking.

“Totally fascinating how deep many thought patterns are. You slip in to them without noticing, then you react and only then do you realise it is too late”, she spoke out loud to herself.

“What is too late?” Ricky asked.

“I guess nothing is too late”, Nejla realized as she replied. “We can always go back and change. We can always connect again and think or say or do what we really meant, not what our old patterns meant. I believe I have come to understand that this is actually what evolving in life is all about. Dropping the masks, gently tearing down the walls and owning what we need to release and uncover. Going back to those we dropped our reaction on, including when that one is ourselves at times, rephrasing, repairing. Through that we not only heal our patterns but we also heal the other being across from us as we throw out a bridge of loving rainbowlight through that very act. Does that sound weird or mushy?”

“Nothings mushy in the life of a musher!”, Ricky couldn’t help himself, slapping his knees, laughing at his own joke.

Soft, gentle chello like music drifted through the air, swirling around the mountaintops, dropping in and out of the crevasses, dancing, mixing, transforming. The full moon travelled across the heavens. No hurry. Just gently journeying.

“Do you know that command on the computer when everything seems to be out of whack?” Nejla looked across at Ricky as she moved the dogs from the sleds to the stakeout.

“Force Quit, you mean?”, Ricky was half way head down and half his torso in to the Cargo Basket, getting the dogs meals out.

“Yes!”, Nejla enthusiastically replied. “It feels like the spell will work just like “Force Quit”. When things are stuck, just hanging there, solidly glued in the same warp you need a “Force Quit” right?”

“Right as rain”, Thor  budged in and replied.

“Starlight, Starlight, Comets and Void. Be bright. Shine clear”.

Lyrics  were forming to the swirling music.

Nejla looked over at Starlight. Their eyes met. In that moment Nejla realized  that Starlight’s very eyes looked just like that – starlight. Why had she not seen that before?  Furthermore, Starlights red and white fur reflected the starlight from above as well as the frozen starlight they rested upon. Was it Starlight singing as she gently howled or was it the crevasses?

Elsa’s Song, Dec 19th 2021

Elsa opens her book of magic. The pages of the book allowing her to follow it all simultaneously.

Her humans love connecting them all through the threads of gold.

Disa and the Wind Dragons moving north.

Nejla, Ricky, Starlight, Tuva, Kriya, Maddy, Thor, Kabir, Storm and Wolfie leaving their sleep as the Fire Dragons carry the light of the morning sun their way, tickling their eyes. It will be time for them to move further north in a short while.

Alabaster leaving the valley behind, heading north, back to the upper ranges.

Isa, the spark of Isness, residing in all places at once, her light the strongest in the North disguised as the North Star.

Starlight, perching at the opening of the Northern Cave. The Queen of Snowleopards watching the storm clouds coming in as the rest of her pack move further inside the cave.

Watching them all moving, Elsa paints a picture, sending a message through to Nejla.

“You will need to be the one changing your energetic signature. Taking charge of it. Only you. Remember as well, you might want to begin by noticing how you move through space. What you leave in your backwaters. What is emanating out through your backwaters. How you meet the current in front. Intent is your strongest key.”

Elsa takes a deep breath, continues. “The resonance you leave behind becomes your energetic signature in that space in time in that moment. And we all know now that time is a spiral. Which is why you can travel back – or forwards – to places, spaces, dimensions and times to change the energetic signature you deposited there as well as intend – aka  program – the energetic signature of what you want to call in.”

“See! That’s what I told you!” Nejla hears Isa’s voice dancing in the skies. “Magic is a choice!”

Elsa closes the book. She knows she can always play the music, her song, on the heartstrings with or without the book. She just likes opening it up once in a full moon to have a physical overview.

Alabaster hears a gentle song, philligraphing its way up through the crevasses of the upper ranges glacier. “Elsa’s song!” His heart skips a beat. His paws feel younger. He moondances his way the last kilometre towards his packs resting grounds. Being welcomed by their glimmering eyes in the winter night.

“Elsa is singing!”, one of the pups is jumping with excitement, placing himself in between Alabasters front paws. “It’s Elsa’s Song, dad! Elsa’s Song!”

Elsa’s Song, Dec 18th 2021

The woman’s weathered hands moved across the ancient wand.

To the untrained eye the object looked like a shrivelled up piece of wood.

To Disa it had been obvious the first time her eyes met it that it was anything but wood. Being a blend of onyx, shungite, white alabaster, rock crystal and lava from the inner core of Mother Gaia, swirled together in a spiral like pattern it was an extremely magic wand. The Dragon Wind Wand. One of the most powerful instruments to ever grace the Earth plane, even though no instrument had any true power without intent.

Disa had noticed how some of the birdseeds in her garden had sprung out. How they had managed to do that, outside in the cold, on the thick layer of snow and ice covering the ground, was mystery to behold. Unless it was due to the bright light coming in from the galactic suns during the short days. Magic light for magic sprouts?

Nejla and Ricky’s sleds had come to a halt. They had travelled throughout the early morning. At 3 am they had packed up, moved on for a few hours underneath the Ursid meteor showers. Now at 6.30 am it was time for a nap before the bright red and golden sun dawned.

A deep sigh from the dogs spread through the quiet air. What seemed like just as deep a sigh sounded out from the surrounding woods seconds later.

“Light is the first cause, and every second cause is its shadow”, Maddy the Mighty stretched out like only cats can.

‘What’s that?” Ricky turned and looked at the cat.

“Oh, just something this pretty connected guy Rumi I once knew very well used to say”. Maddy curled up.

“How old are you Maddy?” Nejla asked.

“Ancient. Not that it matters though”, Maddy replied opening one eye. “Let’s just keep what the dude Rumi said in mind once we wake up with the sun after this nap OK? You will see. Oh yes, you will see.”

“Did you know I was about to name the second lead dog Rumi?” Ricky turned towards Nejla. “But he insisted on being called Kabir instead”.

Nejla could not help laughing out loud. “I always thought it such a weird combination of names and energies  with Thor and Kabir in the lead, but Thor and Rumi surely would have been outrageously weird.”

Another sigh from The Crew and The Pack. Time to snooze.

Disa picked up The Dragon Wind Wand.

Elsa’s Song, Dec 17th 2021

17. 1 and 7. 1 plus 7. 8.

Oneness. Magic. Infinity.

The three dragons soared above the mountain tops. There, underneath the sheath of mist, as well as in the other world underneath the ice, two different realities took place. Yet they were still the same.

Through The Valley of Thorns the humans, canines and the one feline were led by the great Alabaster. The whitest of white wolves ever to walk this surface.

Underneath the ice, in the river running through the valley, sparks of wisdom, sparks of Isness started to move, warming up, melting and cracking the ice. In some parts it began to break open.

Oneness, Magic and Infinity were also known as The Trinity of The Dragonhood. The spells had woken them up, calling them in to this dimension. The Adventurer was about to be embodied again. Even though her body had left 15 months ago her soul and presence were everywhere. It was just that the humans forgot to tune in from time to time. Oneness, Magic and Infinity were sort of her knights here on earth whenever the humans needed to be reminded to connect in to what is already there.

I know, if you are a human reading this right now you are most likely saying “if the dragons are soaring and the presence of The Adventurer is everywhere, how can I connect “in”? Shouldn’t  I connect to all of that outside of me?”

And that’s just it dear human, nothing is outside of you. All and everything is inside of you. The universe is in you. You are not in the universe. All, all, all, my dear human is a mirror. A reflection. Of you, you, you. You are me, I am you, we are us, we are they, they are us.

Oneness. Magic. Infinity.

I might be called Storulven, I might be your guide at times, and your times might feel like eons. But I am you. You are me. We are all aspects of The One.

Nejla, looked to her left. They were moving really fast through this valley. It felt like someone was tugging at them, pulling them through and they were not to stop. Something  had moved her to look to her left. Thick branches surrounded them on the right side, less thick, lower brush grew on the left side. She heard a noise of ice cracking. A humming sound. Like thousands of little voices singing “Om” arising through the cracks in the ice on the other side of the bushes.

“Go, go, go!” Ricky shouted. His pack was moving faster than ever. He turned his head looking back at Nejla and The Crew. “Pick up speed sister dear! Now!”

The Crew sped up. Nejla felt a slight tingle in the back of throat, a slight jump of the heart in to higher gear, for the first time since she embarked on this trip of allowing the journey to unfold. To her left a huge light shone, like fire.

The Fire Dragons had woken up.

Little sparks of wisdom had collectively opened up the portal of centuries thick ice.

The air filled with fierce, sparkling Fire Dragons.

Elsa’s Song, Dec 16th 2021

As the sun is rising over the suburb and  the castle walls, spreading its morning fire over the rooftops, she speaks gently with a whisper from within her very being.

“Look at all the gold”, she says. “It is dancing on the street, in my fur, inside your heart. It is dancing within our connection”.

I see it. I really do see it!

Thanking her, I reach down to her height, gently caressing one of her ears. Soft, gingerbread scented, furry red and white ears. She speeds up a bit. Time to go home. There is always a snack and a cuddle after the morning walk so it is time to get the priorities straight.
As we cross the street full of stressful morning commuters she slows down again. She speaks.

“Infuse a bit of sacredness in to everything you do, into every act.” She smiles and speeds up again.

“Sacredness is the key to so many doors”, Starlight explains as Nejla, The Crew, Maddy, Ricky, Luca & The Pack are in anything but a hurry getting everything sorted for the days trek. They are all enjoying the fresh morning air, the rising sun, the warm open fire crackling, the coffee & porridge scent, the dried meat and fish for the four leggeds, and basically just sharing space. Hanging out. In a way it feels like they don’t need to go anywhere, yet the adventure spirit is tugging to move on. Just a bit ahead. Without a real goal. Just to check what is next. While being present with what is.

“I think I just sprinkled my coffee with sacredness”, Nejla jokingly replied.

“I think we just spice every breath with sacredness”, Ricky said while jumping up and down after his dip in the hole he’d made in the ice, initially to fish for the dogs and Maddy.

“Every breath already is sacredness”, Thor the lead dog of Ricky and Luca´s pack barged in, grabbing the last piece of oatmeal porridge left in Nejla’s bowl on the ground. “All you need to do is notice it.”

From in between the trees Alabaster was watching this morning ritual of this “band of relatives” like he´d loving started to refer to them after his last conversation with Snowflake. He was there in the shadows to guide them safely through the Valley of Thorns, which is where they were heading next. It was the only way through to get to the higher ranges.

The mist of transformation had started spreading out  from the narrow passage way already.

A small, blue butterfly flew through the air, circling the two sleds.

Elsa’s Song, Dec 15th 2021

Breathing in. Breathing out.

Alabaster and the pack had moved grounds to the upper ranges. Winter hunting was better here, and peace was at large.

Overlooking the upper ranges was the large massif of the snow leopards.

With this recent shift in to conscious awareness The Snow Leopard Queen had highlighted “the importance of the soul” during every encounter she and Alabaster had. Last time she had added “The importance of healing the soul”.

Alabaster walked the higher grounds, breathing in, breathing out, tuning in to the frequency of Nejla.

Miles away Nejla stood firm om the footboards of the sled, swooshing through the evening air with The Crew alongside Ricky’s team. She could sense the connection coming in. A click in her heart, an urge to stretch her hands.

“Breath is the doorway and silence is the answer. Remember that my Adventurer. That’s it, and that’s all. You have the spell. Breath is the doorway and silence is the answer.”

An image of herself standing in front of a glass covered portal, surrounded by granite peaks, the winter morning skies, gold and silver dust filled air, frozen breath on the doorway, flashed in to Nejla’s mind. She even heard herself speaking the spell out loud.

“Uncover! Uncover! Uncover! Be! Embrace! Embrace! Embrace! Align!”

Breathing in, breathing out. Silence.

Was this a premonition or an instruction?

Slowly, gently, Snowflake the snow leopard queen approached the granite slab where Alabaster was sitting.

“Tell me, Queen Snowflake, about this importance of the soul, of healing the soul.” Alabaster said.

Snowflake sat down next to him, her long tail covering the entire length of the large boulder.

“The importance of the soul”, she replied. “Of healing the soul. Of living from the soul. Of embodying the soul. That is the largest quest of humanity right now. And only we can lead the way here. Us, The Wild Ones. True wilderness is true connection. We are the healers of the broken souls. I am relieved she is on her way here. With all her friends. All the soul pieces which are one. All the aspects of the diamond merkabah.”

Cecilia Götherström, December 15th 2021

Elsa’s Song, Dec 14th 2021

The call of the first starling braided itself through the air. The clouds vanished. The bright winter sun creating diamond crust on the ground.

Ricky and Nejla were busy getting the sleds ready for the trip. The Crew were eager to get going. The five older huskies pulling Ricky and Luca’s sled sparkled with anticipation. The group of starlings were belting out their regular lunch serenade right after the morning one. They just kept on going.

“Gorgeous!” Nejla could not help herself. She just had to yell it out. “Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!”

“Oh, yes!” Ricky sounded in. “Gorgeously freaking gorgeous!

Luca the Lab was getting comfortable in Ricky’s sled. Nejla tied the cargo basket closed. It was filled with food for The Crew, her own provisions, backpack and all the regular long distance mushing gear.

Both Ricky and Nejla had inherited their sleds when Ricky’s grandfather and Nejla’s uncle passed. He’d been the most renowned musher and sled-maker in the country. Everyone who were serious about the art of mushing came to grandpa and uncle Ford to learn how to work with “these gentle souls with fierce clarity” as he’d called called “the polar breeds”. The sleds he built were known to be strong, fast and flexible.

Ford had told both Nejla and Ricky that his grandfather’s grandfather had actually learned how to build the sleds from the trolls and the pixies. The fairies and the alves had then taught him how to create the lines. Every sled made had its own Nisse appointed to look after both sled, dogs, food, human connection and more.

A faint sound of “swish, swish” in the snow made Nejla turn her head. A little black cat looked her straight in the eyes. A moment later she graciously jumped over the handle bar and placed herself on top of the cargo basket.

“It’s obvious she’s joining”, Ricky laughed.

It took less than a minute for the cat to make herself comfortable.

“And who are you?” Nejla asked.

“Maddy the Mighty”, the cat replied. “You know you ain’t gonna connect to any dragons with just them dogs. And you know you need dragons! It ain’t gonna work without dragons. So who’d you gonna call? Cat Kingdom! And I’m your representative. Pleasure to connect”.

Elsa’s Song, Dec 13th 2021

Deep, deep breaths of fulfilled snow loving beings are moving across the floor space. Sleeping, snoozing, resting beings.

“There is a time for rest. There is a time for work. There is a time for play.” The words adorning the embroidered tapestry on the wall above the kitchen couch.

Nejla always felt so much more at home sitting on the ground. There she was, with the cauldron sitting on the floor in front of her. The sleeping four leggeds in a snoring circle surrounding them both.

Out there the sun had set already. It had barely touched the treetops of the high pines today. A few more days and it would be the darkest of the darkest days. Here up north though the dark was just the most magic time of them all. The black velvet serving as presentation platter for the glittering stardust of The Milky Way , of the dancing Aurora Borealis, of the glistening white snow reflecting sacred geometry codes back through the soul portals of every being .

Today was the thirteenth day of the twelfth month. The day of the Fairy Saint, The Queen of Light. This thirteenth day of the twelfth month felt different though. The energy was unlike any other year she could recall. A tangible dimensional shift. A reminder to put your spiritual practice and connection at the forefront of your priorities as the one thing left unbroken, uncompromised.

“Wings of change,” what seemed like the atmosphere spoke through the cauldron. “Winds of change”.

As the words sunk in,  a realization dawned on Nejla .

“We are so busy connecting in to, or copying, what once was that we forget to notice what is. What is here and now. The ceremonies and rituals are to connect in to the energy, not to times gone by as time is not linear. Through these ceremonies and rituals, we connect now, past and present in a holographic ever-present thread. The boundaries are broken. The veils are shattered. We look across and we see ourselves. In what we call past, present and future. But it is the energies that speak. Frequencies.”

“A-ho, my dear”, Storulven spoke. “Now, go sit. Journey. The door is open. The birds are aware. Go sit for 30 minutes, follow the red thread.”

Elsa’s Song, Dec 12th 2021

Underneath the Christmas Lights, Underneath the Christmas Lights, Underneath the Christmas Lights”, Sia’s Christmas album streamed out of the speakers through Spotify.

Nejla looked out through the guest bedroom window towards the large enclosed space especially built for the dogs at the back of Ricky and Luca’s home.

Starlight was digging ferociously underneath the very Christmas Lights, or more specifically underneath the pine tree living in the corner of the enclosure which had been decorated with coloured Christmas lights. Her tail was fanning more than wagging, which was a sign of hunting. Nejla had better get out there and stop her before whoever was in deep winter sleep got woken up.

Grabbing her beanie with one hand, pulling her mushing boots on with the other, she simultaneously reached for the doorknob with her elbow which resulted in her tumbling out the door, rolling down the two steps of the porch, face planting in the snow. Well, at least she was wide awake now.

“Starlight, Starlight my dear. Come on! Stoooooooop!”

Starlight stopped, turned her head to look at her human. Two seconds later she turned back to the digging.

“Aaaaaaahhhh, huskies!” Nejla shouted as she ran through the knee deep snow.

As if they wanted to prove that this was not just a husky trait but also a samoyed and malamute talent, Kriya and Tuva ran from the other side of the yard joining Starlight in the digging.

All of a sudden they stopped, all three of them. Stepped back, looked down in the hole they’d dug, then across at Nejla who had stranded in a spot where the snow was all of a sudden waist deep to catch her breath, and then they looked back down in the hole again.

Nejla felt like she was swimming through the last part of the snow. It was just a dune of two metres width where the wind had piled up a solid wave of snow which was that deep before it was back to knee depth again. She arrived underneath the Christmas Lights Tree, threw herself on her knees, looking down in the hole together with the three canine ladies.

“Was that? No, she must be imagining? Could it be? Well it did. Did look like gold. But, no, it can’t be?”

Starlight pushed towards the hole with her nose, looking at Nejla, her eyes saying “look, look, look what I got you!”

Nejla reached down under the pine tree twigs, down towards the exposed part of the trunk, her lovika mitten clad hands spread out, gently grabbing and pulling the artifact out of the snow. As she held it up towards the dwindling light of the afternoon sky all three ladies of The Crew watched eagerly.  Nejla gently blew the last pieces of soft snow off the edges. A cauldron. A golden cauldron.
